Music critic Nelson Motta labeled her, “The daughter of bossa with a crystal voice,” in an inevitable reference to her musician/composer father, bossa nova veteran/founder Carlos Lyra.

Clementine is a project led by singer songwriter Julie Hardy. The band features piano, glockenspiel and ukulele—unusual instrumentation through which she channels the Beatles, Feist, Ingrid Michaelson, and St. Vincent. Hardy was a featured artist in the Resident Noise series in July of 2010 and performed a sold out show at the 92Y in Tribeca. |
