Kagero
Japanese Gypsy Rock Band
"Echoes of bossanova, Radiohead, Elvis Costello, everything
sounds like this band should be performing in a Paris café
to a room full of expatriates. -Ben
Kreiger, Jezebel Music
Kagero's gypsy-flavored acoustic rock is knocking New York's
indie scene on its tushy. The sound has been described as a
melting pot of tonalities and rhythms from Asia, the Middle
East and Eastern Europe. Kagero pulls their core rock sound
from David Bowie and Neil Young, and adds the gypsy flavor
of the violin found in the works of Stephane Grappelli. With
a high-energy show that entices even the most jaded hipster
into busting a gleefully bohemian move, Kagero's world music
goulash is very tasty – even if you don't always know what's
you're eating. Just call them your local neighborhood urban-gypsophonic,
border-jumping, international debtor's prison groove-loving
feelgood band next door. |

Webb
"The
songs are heart sprung, tender and tough, fragile and
enduring. Some are jazzy, sung with sass and echoes of
Carole King and Ricky Lee Jones. Others are moody, full of
wee hours wisdom, or yearning and soul stirring, soaring
toward heights flown by the likes of Joni Mitchell and Emmy
Lou Harris. Webb is a newcomer whose music is mined in the
timeless chambers of the human heart."

Katie Arnold
Acoustic / Pop / Folk
Hailing from the outskirts of D.C., singer/songwriter
Katie Arnold has been writing music for the last 20
years. She started out on piano as a child, picked up
a guitar in college, and didn't discover the unleashed
power of her voice until her early twenties. With
influences ranging from Emmylou Harris to The
Cranberries, this up and coming artist is carving out
a niche for herself in the indie-acoustic music scene
of New York City. Katie’s passion-filled songs have a
fearless, yet graceful way of forcing people to stop
and recognize that a life untested is a life unlived.
“Her skilled vocals and song writing ability mark
Katie Arnold as a gifted talent.” -- Dave Kellogg,
syndicated radio personality
Jodie Manross
Folk Rock / Acoustic / Blues
“Her crisp voice and illuminative songcraft belie her
diminutive stature…equal parts wistful and urgent, it’s
atmospheric music that will touch your heart and mind.”
-Los Angeles' Entertainment Weekly
“It’s no wonder why people rave about her power to breathe
life into a song.”
- Boone, NC’s The Mountain Times
“Jodie’s voice is strong, rarefied and, to risk hyperbole,
maybe even angelic.”
– Knoxville, TN’s Metropulse
“Manross’ rafter-rattling vocals can shatter even the
hardest heart.
–Charlotte, NC’s Creative Loafing
With her acoustic-based, blues-influenced folk rock, Jodie
Manross has become one of Tennessee’s --and now New YorkCity--top
singer-songwriters. Known as “the little woman with the big
voice,” Jodie possesses a powerful voice much larger than
her size and surprises audiences with her soulful delivery
of songs
