7:30-9:00pm Brian Sizensky
Brian's musical aspirations started at the age of sixteen. His father, also a musician, taught him the basics of guitar. That's all he needed to start writing his own music. After hearing Tommy Emmanuel, Brian was inspired to learn finger style guitar. At the age of twenty three, his impressive repertoire of original music spans many genres and is equaled by his natural abilities on guitar and his smooth vocal quality. He was recently chosen as a featured songwriter by NetStudio.TV, a collaborative industry website that brings together writers for film, video and television. Brian is quickly gathering a local following playing venues such as Googie's Lounge, Bitter End, Parkside Lounge, Sullivan Hall, Kenny's Castaways, Ace of Clubs, Café Vivaldi, and the Triad Theater in New York City and is currently recording his debut album. Brian is also a filmmaker and a graduate of The School of Visual Arts for Film Directing

Danielle Talamini
Indie / Rock / Americana

Brooklyn-born Danielle Talamini is a country gal at heart, with a sound inspired by the southern rock-n-soul of John Fogerty and Tom Petty, and a dose of Outlaw country a la Willie, Waylon and the boys. The result is "The Road Rises," a collection of songs about roads traveled the hard way, not knowing quite where you'll end up, and the good things in store just up around the bend

  9:00-10:00pm Kagero
”A melting pot you’ll want to lick.” - Stephanie Nolasco, The Deli Magazine

Kagero's sound has been described as a melting pot of tonalities and rhythms from Asia, the Middle East and Eastern Europe. Kagero pulls their core rock sound from David Bowie and Neil Young, and adds the gypsy flavor of the violin found in the works of Stephane Grappelli. Kagero's world music goulash is very tasty – even if you don't always know what's you're eating. Just call them your local neighborhood urban-gypsophonic, border-jumping, international debtor's prison groove-loving feelgood band next door

Martha Colby (cello/voice) and Anna Dagmar(piano/voice) began collaborating in 2004, after meeting at The Songwriter's Beat. Both brimming withjazz and classical influences, a passion for songwriting, and a wacky sense of humor, they were instantly birds of a feather. From reflective balladsto reckless improvisation, there is an uncanny musical telepathy between the two, and never a repeat performance!
